I’m seeing a lot of backlash on this story.

Yeah, maybe there were red flags that should have been addressed a long time before the wedding — but isn’t that the point of this story? We’re not perfect. And it was an interesting read.

When you love someone that much, no matter how deeply they hurt you, you’re always going to want to make it work. It totally makes sense to me that you would go on the honeymoon anyway, and it totally makes sense that you would feel so vindictive after the way she’d treated you. Does that make your actions “good?” No…but they are so valid.

I thought this story was very well-written. I hope you didn’t spend too much on the wedding.
